What To Expect: New Construction Process

1. First, fill out our intake form located under the "How can we help?" section on our website. This form gathers essential information about your project needs and requirements.

2. Once the intake form is submitted, one of our dedicated team members will promptly get in touch with you within 1-2 business days. They will coordinate with you to schedule an appointment with our on-site project manager.

3. Once the initial discussions are complete and the scope of work is defined, we will proceed with outlining the project timeline, typically spanning 2-3 weeks. This phase ensures that all aspects of the project are thoroughly understood and accounted for.

4. If an architect is needed, we will connect you with one of our trusted vendors to begin the design phase.

5. With the scope clarified, we will then obtain estimates from our trusted vendors. This process may take 2-4 weeks to ensure we gather accurate and competitive pricing for the project.

6. Plan will be submitted for approval from the city- this can take 6-12 months. We do not have control over this unfortunately.

7. Upon finalizing the estimates and ensuring alignment with your expectations, we will issue a contract outlining the terms and conditions of the project. This contract will need to be carefully reviewed and signed by both parties.

8. To secure your project slot and initiate the construction process, a deposit will be required as stipulated in the contract terms. This deposit serves as a commitment from both parties to proceed with the project.

9. Once the necessary preparations are complete, construction will commence according to the agreed-upon timeline. The duration of the project will be estimated based on the scope of work and complexity of the tasks involved.

10. Throughout the construction phase, periodic draws may be requested as outlined in the contract details. These draws serve to ensure smooth progress and provide financial support as the project advances.

11. Upon completion of the project, a comprehensive walk-through will be conducted to review all aspects of the work and address any remaining punch list items. This final step ensures that the project meets your expectations and is ready for handover.
